The Singapore Beer Industry Association (SBIA) has commissioned a whitepaper to explore the thriving beer industry’s profound influence on Singapore’s economic growth, social progress, and environmental development.

 

The report underscores the role of the beer industry in generating significant direct economic impact and stimulating key sectors such as Food and Beverages (F&B), hospitality, and tourism in Singapore.

 

Through surveys, focus group discussions, and interviews with relevant stakeholders, the report captures the industry's contributions towards the nation's economy, culture, tourism, and community life. It emphasizes beer's role in socialising and community building and highlights SBIA members' efforts in promoting responsible consumption and environmental sustainability. The whitepaper offers recommendations for policymakers to support a balanced and thriving beer industry in Singapore.
